Law Offices of Rony Oommen John is preferred by clients and recognised by peers for the ability to handle complex issues in most fields of law and forums. These skills include our structured research approach, a three-step drafting and review process, unique use of visual aids for the courts and authorities, and our proven experience in arguing a majority of our cases ourselves, including cases before the Supreme Court of India.
The team and its members operate beyond silos—in terms of forum, territory or subject matter. The focus is to deliver superlative representation services including litigation management services to our clients at every stage of the dispute involving them. This is further validated by the fact that a significant part of our litigation includes cases referred to us by other lawyers, including foreign law firms, who identify the value we bring to their clients.
The benefit of our office being located in New Delhi is the regularity with which we are available to appear before the highest courts and tribunals in India — Supreme Court of India, the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal, the National Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission, the Appellate Tribunal for Money-Laundering and the Appellate Tribunal for Foreign Exchange and the Competition Commission, to name a few. Our drive to design unique strategies and leading arguments has also resulted in successful results recently in other cities including Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Jammu and Allahabad.
Finally, our team is always cognisant of the privilege to practice law at the highest levels in India and our responsibility to give back to the society. We continue to successfully represent certain clients pro bono in a number of cases and are genuinely humbled by the impact we have brought by dedicating a small part of our schedule to these noble causes.

Rony Oommen John
Rony Oommen John is an Advocate qualified to practice law in India with over 17 years of litigation experience from his association with three leading law firms in the country. He is an Advocate-on-Record of the Supreme Court of India and an LL.M. graduate of Columbia Law School, New York.
His primary expertise lies in commercial disputes, taxation and regulatory laws and white collar crime.
Piyush Swami
Piyush is an Advocate qualified to practice law in India with a vast experience in providing litigation and advisory services from his association with Law offices of Rony Oommen John since 2019. He is a law graduate specializing in Business Laws from Institute of Law, Nirma University, Ahmedabad (Batch of 2019).
His primary expertise lies in disputes involving insolvency law, commercial law and indirect tax law.
He provides litigation and advisory services to clients in commercial and contractual disputes before civil courts, arbitration panels, High Courts and Supreme Court of India. He also advises and represents clients in corporate insolvency cases before the NCLT, NCLAT and Supreme Court of India. As an indirect tax lawyer, Piyush has represented several clients before CESTAT and High Courts and handles advisory mandates in matters relating to GST and Customs.
Arshdeep Singh
Arshdeep Singh is a graduate of National Law University, Delhi where he completed specialized courses in tax and regulatory litigation and criminal court practice. Arshdeep is qualified to practice law in India and has been associated with Law Offices of Rony Oommen John since 2020. His areas of practice include Supreme Court litigation, regulatory litigation, direct tax disputes and white-collar crime defense.
Arshdeep provides litigation and advisory services to corporate and individual clients in regulatory disputes, direct tax disputes and criminal cases before adjudicating authorities, High Courts and the Supreme Court of India, and regularly appears in writ matters before various High Courts. He also specializes in contract drafting and negotiations.
Anuj Dubey
Anuj is an Advocate qualified to practice law in India. He is a graduate of National Law University, Delhi where he attended courses in procedural criminal law and tax and regulatory litigation. Anuj’s primary areas of practice include regulatory and white-collar crime litigation and commercial disputes. He provides litigation and advisory services to clients (corporates and individuals) in the arena of white-collar crime defense, regulatory and commercial disputes. He represents clients before adjudicating authorities, civil courts, tribunals, High Courts, and the Supreme Court of India.
Amay Bahri
Amay is a graduate of National Law University, Delhi, and is qualified to practice law in India. He focuses on commercial litigation and corporate transactional practice, including real estate, insolvency and FEMA. Before joining the Law Offices of Rony Oommen John, he worked with Luthra and Luthra Law Offices India in their Corporate, Real Estate, and Regulatory Practice.
Amay provides litigation and advisory services in regulatory disputes before adjudicating authorities, High Courts and the Supreme Court of India. He also focuses on contract drafting, negotiations, and real estate matters.
